Day 1: Arrival in Bhutan

A warm welcome by a friendly representative marks the beginning of your adventure, leading you to a delightful lunch featuring the flavors of Bhutanese cuisine. The afternoon is dedicated to exploring Paro, starting with the National Museum, Ta Dzong, housing a treasure trove of relics and art that narrate Bhutan's rich history. Your journey continues to Rimpong Dzong, a historical site adorned with the paintings of the revered saint Milarepa, symbolizing Bhutan's spiritual and political harmony. Crossing a picturesque wooden bridge, you retire for the night at a comfortable Paro hotel.

Day 2: Trek to Paro Takshang (Tiger's Nest)

A hearty breakfast fuels your ascent to the iconic Taktsang Monastery, known as the "Tiger's Nest." The well-marked trail offers stunning views of the Paro valley during the 1.5 to 2-hour hike. The Tiger's Nest, perched dramatically on a cliff, holds the history of Guru Rimpoche's transformative meditation, introducing Buddhist Dharma to Bhutan. Day 3: Paro – Jele Dzong

Day 4: Jele Dzong – Jangchulakha

Day 5: Jangchulakha – Jigmi Langtsho

Covering approximately 11km in four hours, the trail follows ridges with breathtaking views, culminating at Jimilangtsho lakes. The campsite, at 3870m, promises a peaceful night under Bhutan's starlit skies.

Day 6: Jimilangtsho Lakes – Simkota

A trek of 11km in four hours introduces enchanting dwarf rhododendron forests and Ja nga tsho lake, offering insights into yak herders' lives. The campsite near Simkota Lake, at 4110m, provides an ideal setting to unwind and acclimatize.

Day 7: Simkota – Phajoding – Thimphu

Covering 15km in six hours, the trek offers panoramic views of Bhutan's highest peak, Mt. Gangkar Puensum. The descent through blue pine forests concludes as you reach Thimphu, where you can explore or relax at your hotel.

Day 8: Thimphu Sightseeing and Drive to Paro
